Crown Prince of Dubai, Chairman of the Executive Council and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Dubai Future Foundation, H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, issues a decision extending the exemption of entrepreneurs from licensing fees.

An informed source said that His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum issued a decision extending the exemption of citizen entrepreneurs who are members of the Mohammed bin Rashid Establishment for Small and Medium Enterprises Development from licensing fees stipulated in Law 23 of 2009 to 7 years instead of 5 years, based on directives Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum
His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum confirmed through his official account on Twitter that "in implementation of the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid to make Dubai a global center for innovation and entrepreneurship, we have directed to extend the exemption of citizen entrepreneurs who are members of the Mohammed bin Rashid Establishment for Small and Medium Enterprises Development from fees. The licenses stipulated in Law 23 of 2009 are up to 7 years instead of 5 years.

His Highness also stated that "the extension aims to enable the small and medium-sized companies sector to continue to grow... in continuation of the emirate's efforts to support the business sector in general on the diversification of the size of its activities and projects... and based on its responsibility towards a vital sector that constitutes one of the pillars of the national economy and providing the opportunity for its companies to further develop." And this prosperity, according to what was published by the Emirates Today newspaper.
