The "Unified Rules of Work" defines 4 systems for end-of-service benefits for employees working in the United Arab Emirates, both citizens and residents.

In this context, the new decree adopted by the President of the State, Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed, is the decree on the "Unified General Rules of Work in the Emirates" law.

The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation had earlier revealed four new systems for calculating the “end-of-service gratuity”, where it was decided to grant all employees and workers the types of work: (part-work system, flexible work system, and temporary work system (not full-time)), in each From the federal government sector and the private sector, annual leave, which is calculated on the basis of the ratio and proportionality between working hours and days, and their end-of-service gratuity is calculated in accordance with what is specified by law.

According to the Federal Decree, first: the established rules for the minimum rights of workers in the private sector, without prejudice to the provisions contained therein.

Second: Not to violate the worker's rights stipulated under any other legislation or work contract arranged for the employee.

Third: The calculation of the period shall be by law according to the Gregorian calendar, and the Gregorian year is calculated according to the decree-law of 365 days and the month is 30 days.
