The Egyptian Astronomy Institute determines the beginning of the blessed month of Ramadan, astronomers

The Egyptian Astronomy Institute confirmed that the start of the blessed month of Ramadan for the Hijri year 1443 (2022 AD) will be on Saturday, April 2, 2022, according to astronomical calculations.

The crescent of the month of Ramadan for the year 1443 AH will be born immediately after the conjunction, and that will be on Friday, the 29th of Sha’ban for the year 1443 AH corresponding to April 1, 2022, which is the day of sighting. Thus, 102 days remain until the holy month, according to astronomical calculations.

As for the date of the beginning of the month of Rajab, the crescent of the month of Rajab will be born immediately after the conjunction occurred at exactly 8:46 am Saudi time (7:46 Cairo time) on Tuesday 29 Jumada al-Akhirah for the year 1443 AH corresponding to 1/222 (day of sighting).

And an astronomer, and according to the preliminary calculations of the Egyptian Institute of Astronomy, the first of Rajab for the year 1443 AH will be astronomical on Wednesday 2/2 2022.
