The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation issued a ministerial circular regarding working hours in the private sector during the holy month of Ramadan.
According to the circular, all private sector facilities in the country are required to reduce the normal working hours of all their employees by two hours per day throughout the blessed month.
This came in implementation of the executive regulations of Federal Decree-Law No. 33 of 2021 regarding the regulation of labor relations.
The head of the National Institute for Astronomical and Geophysical Research in Egypt stated that, according to the astronomical calculations carried out by the institute, the crescent of the month of Ramadan will be born immediately after the conjunction occurs at exactly 06:25 am GMT, on Friday, April 1 of the Gregorian year 2022 (day of sighting). ).
The new crescent remains in the sky of Makkah and Cairo for 17 minutes after sunset on that day (the day of sighting), while the new crescent remains in the sky of several other regions in Egypt for periods ranging from 17 to 18 minutes.
In Arab and Islamic capitals and cities, the new crescent remains after sunset on that day for periods ranging from 10 to 25 minutes, and thus the start of the blessed month of Ramadan for the Hijri year 1443 will be on Saturday, corresponding to the second of April of the Gregorian year 2022.
