What is new in this regard is that the Saudi Ministry of Interior quoted a responsible source as saying that these decisions were made to mitigate the effects of the Corona pandemic on individuals, private sector establishments, investors and economic activities in the Kingdom.

In turn, the Saudi Interior Ministry decided to "extend the validity of the final exit visa for expatriates, without any financial compensation."

The Saudi Ministry continued, saying, "Extending the validity of the expired residency for expatriates who are outside the Kingdom with an exit and return visa, which expires during the suspension period of entry and exit from the Kingdom for a period of 3 months without charge."

As for the third decision, it was about "extending the validity of the exit and return visas for expatriates, which were not used, during the suspension period of entry and exit from the Kingdom for a period of 3 months without charge."

Hence, the fourth decision stipulated: “Extending the validity of the exit and return visa for all expatriates who are outside the Kingdom, which ends during the suspension period of entry and exit from the Kingdom for a period of 3 months without charge.

As for the fifth and final decision of the Saudi Ministry of Interior, it was to extend the validity of the residence period for expatriates who are inside the Kingdom and who come with a visit visa.
