Bahrain detects an infection with the "Omicron" mutant coming from abroad
The Bahraini Ministry of Health announced the monitoring of an existing case of the Corona virus (omicron), the new mutated version of (Covid-19) for a person coming from outside the Kingdom of Bahrain, stressing that it had implemented the protocol for existing cases of health isolation and took the necessary health measures.
The ministry said, in a statement reported by the Bahrain News Agency (BNA) today, Saturday, that after carrying out the process of tracing the trace of contacts, it was found that there were no contacts of this case inside the Kingdom of Bahrain, and all approved procedures for isolation and follow-up were followed.
She added that all concerned authorities, in implementation of the directives of the Council of Ministers and the Coordination Committee, are following up on global developments regarding the Corona virus (Covid-19) and its modifications, noting that it will not hesitate to take the necessary measures at the local level to protect the people of the country and residents according to the requirements of the stage.
The Ministry stressed the need to continue to adhere to the precautionary measures and instructions issued by the national medical team to address the Corona virus and the concerned authorities, calling at the same time to take the anti-Coronavirus vaccination and the booster dose of it, as vaccinations generally contribute to raising the immune response and alleviating symptoms and complications in the event of infection with the virus. .
