The Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship issued a new statement in which it defined 5 necessary steps and conditions first to grant expatriate applicants an entry visa to the Emirates so that they can finish the procedures for obtaining a golden residency. These requirements include applicants who hold doctoral degrees in addition to specialists in engineering and science.
In this context, the five requirements that applicants must present in order to grant them the "entry-level exit procedures for golden residency" visa for the Emirates have been set for six months, which is a multiple-entry visa.
In a related development, the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship in the Emirates stated that applicants must submit a notarized copy that has been certified by the Ministry of Education of doctoral degrees, as well as submit a copy that has been documented and certified by the Ministry of Education from a university degree, in engineering or science, as well as for the applicant. The golden residency must be committed to presenting a work contract in which his profession is in one of the engineering disciplines or sciences, and he must also submit a copy of a passport, a one-year health insurance and the extension is accepted, according to what was published by the Emirates Today newspaper.
It is worth noting that the UAE government has issued important amendments to the conditions and system for granting golden residency to expatriates a few months ago at the end of 2020, adding new categories that can obtain golden residency and benefit from long-term visas of up to 10 years.
