A few hours ago, an urgent ministerial statement was issued outlining the new work rules for citizens and expatriates in the country, as the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation announced the general rules for work in the Emirates.
In this context, the UAE Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation, His Excellency Dr. Abdul Rahman bin Abdul Manan Al Awar, announced the general rules for working in the country for citizens and residents.
On a related level, His Excellency the Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation, during his statements in the last media briefing, announced the Federal Decree Law No. 47 of 2021 regarding the recently established unified general rules for working in the United Arab Emirates inside the Ministry’s headquarters in the Emirate of Dubai.
Al-Awar explained that the new federal law and decree was approved by His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, and it is scheduled to be activated and implemented starting on February 2, 2022.
On the other hand, His Excellency the Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation stated that the approved weekly leave for workers in the private sector in the UAE is the most important feature of flexibility, and its institutions have the right to determine the appropriate leave, but the minimum is not less than one day per week.
