Pursuant to the instructions of the President of the UAE, the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship has expedited the procedures for granting citizenship to 3,354 children of Emirati women citizens applying for Emirati citizenship, who meet the conditions for granting citizenship.

The Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship has terminated all routines related to granting citizenship to 3354 children of female citizens, in compliance with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State.


According to the instructions of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, and with follow-up by His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship completed all procedures related to granting citizenship to 3354 children of female citizens.

The guidelines were implemented, with direct follow-up from His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, as the authority worked to complete 3354 files related to citizenship applicants from the children of female citizens, who meet the criteria for granting citizenship, in accordance with the legal provisions regulating.

Meanwhile, all handover procedures will be completed and completed, through a timetable set by the commission, and in coordination with other concerned authorities.

His Highness, the President of the State, has indicated, since starting to deal with this file, the speedy completion of procedures for granting citizenship to deserving citizens of citizens, in order to ensure their enjoyment of citizenship, as they are one of the components of the social fabric and a pillar of the Emirati society.
