Official decision: free food for tens of thousands of families because of Corona
In the UAE: The Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation for Humanitarian Works distributes 42,000 food parcels (Al-Roshan Ramadan) to families registered with the Ministry of Community Development throughout the country on the occasion of the approach of the holy month of Ramadan, starting on Wednesday the fifteenth of April, in implementation of the directives of His His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State and support of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and with direct follow-up from His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs and President of the Foundation.
In Kuwait: Brigadier Tawhid Al-Kandari, Director of the General Department of Public Relations and Security Media at the Ministry of Interior stated that the Ministry of Interior has drawn up an integrated plan to ensure the delivery of food and drink to the residents of Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh and Mahboula
This came after the cabinet decision to isolate them as a precautionary measure to face the outbreak of the new Corona virus (Covid 19), amid a state of complete readiness to secure the services and nutritional needs of the population, with a comprehensive plan to examine everyone and ensure that they are not infected with the virus. All this comes with the help of the Red Crescent, companies and charities, where volunteer teams will deliver food to their homes and homes.
