Officially.. the date and duration of the Eid Al-Fitr holiday in the private and government sectors

The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation announced that the period from Ramadan 29 until Shawwal 3, 1443 AH and corresponding to the Gregorian date will be a paid holiday for all workers in the private sector in the country on the occasion of Eid Al Fitr.

This comes based on the Cabinet's decision regarding official holidays.
In this context, the UAE government has announced the date of the Eid Al-Fitr holiday 2022 and the duration of the holiday scheduled for the federal government in accordance with the new weekly work system that has been adopted in the UAE, as well as in accordance with the holiday agenda that has been approved.

In a related context, the Federal Authority for Governmental Human Resources issued a special circular on Thursday morning, April 21, 2022, in the government sector in the UAE for the year 1443 AH, according to what was published by the Emirates News Agency "WAM".

On the other hand, the new circular was issued in accordance with the Cabinet Decision of 2021 regarding the new system of weekly work in the federal sector in the UAE.

And the date of the Eid Al-Fitr holiday 2022. The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources in the Emirates issued its decision to start the Eid Al-Fitr holiday in the Emirates from the 29th of Ramadan for the year 1443 AH, until the day of Shawwal 3, 1443 AH. It is worth noting that Ramadan 29 will fall on Saturday, April 30, 2022.
