In its last session, which was held a few days ago, the Council of Ministers of the State of Kuwait announced the adoption of several new decisions and procedures, and in this context, the Council submitted some new laws to His Highness Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad, Emir of Kuwait related to financing banks, loan installments and the effects resulting from the outbreak of Corona.
In this context, the Council of Ministers announced the lifting of 3 important new laws to the Emir of the country after approval by the Council, including the "Local Bank Financing Law", which is presented to clients who have suffered damages due to the Coronavirus pandemic, and also includes a special law on loan installments postponement. As part of the government's attempts to solve the crises resulting from the pandemic, in addition to a special law amending Law No. 17 of 1960 regarding criminal procedures and trials.
In a related development, some informed sources revealed, according to a press statement, that the Council of Ministers gave urgency regarding the law of opening the additional approval for the disbursement of front-row bonuses, after the approval of Parliament Speaker Marzouq Al-Ghanim, as he incorporated the project into the agenda of the current session on April 13th, thus granting The government has the right to disburse the reward as soon as the new law is published in the official gazette, according to what was published by Al-Anbaa newspaper.
These informed sources revealed in their statements that the Kuwaiti Council of Ministers will approve the qatoon, after which the Ministry of Finance, in cooperation with the Ministry of Information and the Civil Service Bureau, will in charge of each of the Ministry of Finance in cooperation with the Ministry of Information and the Civil Service Bureau to refer him to the government to approve the exchange before the blessed Eid al-Fitr.
