Tenants are exempt from paying rent due to the spread of the Corona virus and business interruption.
In Kuwait: The United Real Estate Company decided to exempt restaurants and cafes in the "Marina Mall" from paying the rental value for the month of March, and to give an exceptional discount of 25% to the commercial stores for two months.
It also reduced rents to investors in the KIPCO and Al Madina towers, and closed the Marina Mall until further notice.
According to Al Anbaa newspaper, the company decided to close the "Marina Mall" until further notice, in compliance with the recent instructions of the Council of Ministers.
It is worth noting that the company reduced the rents of restaurants, cafes, shops and a health club in the KIPCO tower and the city tower for the months of March and April.
This comes in view of the exceptional circumstances that the country is going through and the outbreak of the new Corona virus and out of the company's social responsibility and what the national interest requires.
