Oman records the first two new cases of Corona of two Omani citizens from Iran
e Ministry of Health of the Sultanate of Oman issued on its account on Twitter on Wednesday that the Sultanate recorded two new cases of the emerging coronavirus, bringing the total number of infections in the country to four.
The ministry added that the two new cases were "linked to travel to Iran," Reuters reported.
On Monday, Oman recorded the first two cases of newborn corona of two Omani women who came from Iran, while the General Authority of Civil Aviation announced the suspension of all flights with Iran.
Omani TV quoted the Ministry of Health as saying that the two women are currently being quarantined at home, noting that their condition is stable.
In another context, an official source at the Omani Ministry of Health said that the other cases are still subject to follow-up and are in a stable health condition.
The Ministry appealed to citizens to maintain hand-washing with water and soap, or to disinfect them with alcohol-approved hand sanitizers, to follow healthy habits when coughing and sneezing, to reduce handshaking, and to avoid kissing of all kinds on social occasions.
The Sultanate of Oman has announced the registration of six cases of the disease "Corona emerging" - Covid 19) since last Monday.
