Dubai Airports confirmed that air traffic at Dubai International Airport (DXB) was affected due to bad, dusty weather this afternoon, which led to the diversion of 10 incoming flights and rerouting them to Dubai World Central Airport (DWC) and other surrounding airports.

She stressed that, for its part, Dubai Airports is working in cooperation and coordination with all strategic partners to reduce the repercussions and restore air traffic normally as soon as possible.

The National Center of Meteorology warned of dust and dust suspended in the air and the lack of horizontal visibility over some exposed areas, as visibility decreased due to a wave of dust and laden dust and a decrease in horizontal visibility to less than 500 meters at Dubai International Airport, Abu Dhabi International Airport, Al Maktoum Airport, Al Bateen Airport and Al Ajban Airport in Abu Dhabi, Sweihan and Airport Al Ain International, Zaba in Al Ain, Madinat Zayed in Al Dhafra region and in separate areas of the country.

Today's weather continued, dusty to partly cloudy, with the formation of some convective clouds in the east and south in the afternoon, and the winds are light to moderate in speed and active at times, exciting and laden with dust and dust, and the sea is light in waves in the Arabian Gulf and in the Sea of ​​Oman.

The National Center of Meteorology attributed the state of dust to the influence of the state with a shallow air depression, accompanied by a weak air depression in the upper layers of the atmosphere accompanied by an air high extension in the upper layers of the atmosphere, and active winds laden with dust and dust that led to a decrease in horizontal visibility to about 500 meters over a number of regions of the country .

The lowest temperature in the country was recorded today at 23.5 degrees Celsius in Jebel Jais in Ras Al Khaimah at 5:45 am, and the highest temperature was recorded in Sweihan at 47.9 degrees Celsius at 3:15 pm local time in the UAE.
