In this context, and since the launch of the national program for the recruitment and qualification of Emirati cadres “Nafis” in mid-September last year, the number of companies registered with the government employment platform “Nafis” as partners has reached 1010 employers offering thousands of jobs and training opportunities for national cadres
The Nafes platform operates under the umbrella of the Emirati Competitiveness Council, which is one of the "50 projects" programs and initiatives aimed at achieving a qualitative leap in the development path in the UAE and developing the national economy system, by supporting the private sector by employing 75,000 citizens over the years. The next five, an average of 15,000 jobs for citizens annually.
It is worth noting that the last four months have increased nearly fivefold in the number of employers joining the Nafees Partners list, as the number of companies registered on the platform increased from 238 employers last March, to 1010 employers before the end of this month. The list of partners includes a large number of International and national companies with multiple branches and diversified activities, specialized in 10 business sectors: “commerce, industry, health, construction, economy, tourism, investment, law, as well as the technical and professional sectors.”
It is expected that the growth and prosperity of many private sector establishments will increase, which is a major driver within the wheel of the country's economic development, in addition to the legislative environment, the legal system and national programs that encourage the attraction of Emirati talent, according to what was published by the Emirates Today newspaper.
