It was announced that the launch site of 1,000 flights per week will be transferred to Dubai airports due to the competent authorities starting the development of the northern runway at Dubai International Airport, according to what was announced a short time ago by the Dubai Airports Corporation.
The Corporation stated that the process of developing the northern runway at Dubai International Airport "DXB" has begun, which is scheduled to continue during the period from Monday, May 9, 2022, until next June 22, 2022.
In this context, "Dubai Airports" has announced that due to the work that is currently taking place within the framework of the comprehensive renovation project that Dubai Airport is going through, the busiest airport in the world.
Maintenance work at Dubai Airport has caused several changes:
First: Passengers are to receive only one runway.
Second: Reducing the number of flights.
Third: Directing more than 1,000 flights on a weekly basis to Dubai World Central - DWC during the period prepared for development work.
Fourth: Operating most of the flights through the following airlines: “Fly Dubai”, “SpiceJet”, and “Indigo”.
