New decisions within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia issued a statement today by all users of the Internet, said the General Authority for Zakat and income in Saudi Arabia, today that all establishments registered in the value-added tax can submit their tax return in minutes through the portal and everyone must apply for non-legal issue.

On the other hand, the Authority added, in a statement, that this is by entering the account of the facility in the portal of the Authority, and filling the sales and purchases fields, and then pay the invoice electronically at any time and from any place through the payment system, and does not require any attachments or documents .

In a related note, the Zakat Authority pointed out that if a credit balance is generated after filling the VAT declaration, the establishment can submit a refund request by filing a refund request through the same declaration, stating that the request for redemption does not require any documents or attachments. Whereas, the Authority has set the expiration of the redemption requests within a maximum of 30 days.

Today, the Authority has confirmed that establishments are entitled to correct their tax returns previously submitted for a previous tax period, in accordance with the provisions of the Implementing Regulations of the VAT Law, provided that the Authority is notified within 20 days from the date of its knowledge of the error.

In the event that there is an error in the registration of annual financial statements, the establishments are entitled to change the period of filing their tax returns from monthly to quarterly and vice versa, through the establishment's account in the portal of the General Authority for Zakat and Income.
