In a related development, the head of the National Institute for Astronomical Research revealed that according to the new forecasts, the setting of the moon will be 12 minutes before sunset on Ramadan 29 in Mecca and Cairo.
He also added that the moon set in the rest of the governorates of the Arab Republic of Egypt, the new crescent will set, according to expectations, between 11-14 minutes before sunset on that day.
The institute indicated that all Arab and Islamic capitals and cities will witness the sunset of the moon between 3-17 minutes before sunset, according to expectations.
