Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison expressed this morning, Monday, his expectation that Australia will receive its first batches of a possible vaccine for the emerging corona virus "Covid 19" next January 2020.

In a related context, the number of new daily infections in the hotspot of the virus in the country decreased to its lowest level in ten weeks.

On the one hand, Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison lost that his government had concluded a deal with CSL to manufacture two vaccines - one developed by AstraZeneca and the other by Oxford University.

 "Australia needs some hope," Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison said in Canberra. Today, we are taking another important step to protect the health of Australians from the Coronavirus pandemic.

 On the one hand, Health Minister Greg Hunt revealed that the scientists leading the development of both vaccines said that recent evidence indicates that both will provide "multi-year protection."
