Record rise in airline tickets prices for many destinations

The gradual rise in airline ticket prices will begin in the coming period, starting from next December, with a rate ranging between 30-40%.

In this context, Mohammed Jassim Al Rayes, Executive Vice President of Al Rais Travel, said that due to the active travel movement during the current period in the UAE market, the prices of airline tickets are expected to rise gradually to reach their peak in the second half of next December, due to the holiday season as well. to visit “Expo 2020 Dubai” in addition to the National Day and New Year’s holidays.

Al-Rayes explained that the travel movement is represented in the most popular destinations for residents of the country, including Arab destinations, such as Egypt and Jordan, as well as tourist destinations in Eastern and Western Europe, and some relatively nearby stations,” noting that despite the emergence of fears and reports of As cases of “Covid-19” rise in some stations, the movement of reservations is still present.

It is expected that the prices of airline tickets will increase by between 30% to 40%, when compared to their usual levels during the Corona virus pandemic.
