The Ministry of Communications issues important statements
During the current year, mobile companies in Kenya adopt an ambitious plan to strengthen the network based on pumping new investments in improving the quality of service provided to customers and promoting the deployment of 4G services for 4G communications, as well as building new mobile tower stations and actually increasing the list's capacity.
The Minister of Communications and Information Technology met last week with the Kenyan Prime Minister, and the minister discussed during the meeting the plan to expand the construction of new towers, and raise the efficiency of mobile services provided to citizens in the various regions of the Republic, according to specific controls in this regard.
The number of permits required to build a portable tower ranges from 21 to 24 government approval, headed by the Communications Regulatory Authority, the Civil Aviation Authority, the Environmental Affairs Agency, the Ministry of Agriculture, the District Presidency, and the City Council to which the site belongs.
An official source at the Kenya Communications Company said that his company is keen on extending optical fiber (fiber) cables to all mobile towers, explaining that Kenya Communications has already started implementing this plan.
