An important statement regarding disrupting Saudi Airlines flights until the end of the year, sources denying what was reported by the media about disrupting Saudi Airlines flights until the end of this year.

Press sources denied yesterday (Thursday) what was reported by some media about the continued disruption of Saudi Airlines flights until the end of this year.

The sources indicated, according to the "Economy", that the statement of the Minister of Transport, Saleh Al-Jasser, was clear that no date could be set to ease restrictions on air transport in the Kingdom.

The Reuters news agency has published that the Saudi Arabian Airlines Company, which is affiliated with the Kingdom’s government, does not expect the disrupted air traffic due to the Corona virus “Covid-19” to return to normal until the end of this year.

Today, Thursday, the agency reported that it had seen two internal e-mails in which the company informed its teams that the flight operations would not return to normal until December 2020 according to expectations, and asked some employees to suspend their contracts from April to the end of the year.

It is not yet clear how many employees will be affected by this procedure

The aviation sector is suffering heavy losses as a result of the measures taken by the countries of the world with the aim of preventing the outbreak of the Corona virus, foremost of which is the suspension of air traffic.
