On Friday evening, April 9, the Arab coalition forces, which are tasked with supporting legitimacy in Yemen, intercepted one of the drones in the sky over the southern region of the Kingdom after the Houthis launched them in an attempt to target the city of Khamis Mushait in the Asir region.

In this context, after the coalition forces managed to thwart the attempted Houthi attack, they issued a statement announcing that they would take all necessary measures to protect civilians and preserve their safety in accordance with international law.

The Arab Coalition Forces have described the repeated and numerous attempts of the Houthi militia to target civilians as war crimes.
