In a major defensive operation, the General Command of the Bahrain Defense Force (BDF) announced early today that its air defense systems successfully intercepted and destroyed 92 ballistic missiles and 151 hostile drones.
This decisive response comes in the wake of what the authorities have categorized as "heinous Iranian terrorist aggression" aimed at civilian infrastructure and private property within the Kingdom.
The BDF highlighted that these indiscriminate attacks represent a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law and the United Nations Charter, posing a direct threat to regional peace and security. Military officials credited the constant vigilance of their personnel for the successful neutralization of these successive waves of hostility.
Simultaneously, the Civil Defense has been actively working to contain a fire at a facility near Salman Port, which was struck during the attacks. Authorities have issued urgent safety directives, urging the public to remain indoors unless absolutely necessary and to exercise extreme caution.
Furthermore, the government strictly warned against spreading rumors, emphasizing that official sources remain the only reliable provider of information. Citizens were also cautioned to avoid photographing military operations, debris sites, or suspicious objects, prioritizing their safety and national security above all.
