The Bahraini Ministry of Interior confirmed early this morning that a hotel and two residential structures in the heart of Manama were targeted in a security incident.

Official statements reassured the public that no human casualties were reported following the attack.

Bahraini Civil Defense teams demonstrated high readiness by successfully extinguishing a fire that broke out in an apartment within one of the targeted residential buildings. The Ministry emphasized that all necessary security measures were immediately implemented to manage the situation and ensure public safety.

​Regional Turmoil: The Iran-Israel Conflict

This incident coincides with a massive regional escalation that began last Saturday with joint U.S. and Israeli airstrikes on Iran. These strikes reportedly resulted in the death of Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei. In retaliation, Tehran launched waves of missiles and drones targeting Israel and several neighboring countries.
