A collective photograph of the leaders and delegations was taken, during which the Iraqi Prime Minister emphasized that the summit would serve as a platform for fostering solidarity, discussing important matters, unifying positions, and strengthening regional stances.

Egypt's President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi has arrived in Baghdad to attend the summit. He was welcomed at Baghdad International Airport by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Fouad Hussein, who highlighted Egypt's pivotal role in promoting regional stability and enhancing Arab cooperation.

He also noted the historical ties between the two nations since the inception of the Arab League and the depth of their bilateral cooperation across various fields, according to a statement from the Iraqi foreign ministry.

President el-Sisi acknowledged Iraq’s efforts in hosting both the Arab and development summits, regarding it as a significant step that reflects Iraq’s robust return to the Arab fold.

He affirmed Egypt’s support for all initiatives aimed at enhancing economic integration among Arab states, underlining the critical importance of the developmental summit in this regard.
