The High Criminal Court of Bahrain has issued rulings in 11 separate cases involving allegations related to support, encouragement, and endorsement of terrorist attacks carried out against the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Breaking: The cases also included charges involving the acquisition and dissemination of prohibited biometric data, the filming of restricted locations, and the spread of false information and rumors through social media platforms.

According to the court proceedings, the incidents occurred during the period in which Bahrain faced what authorities described as Iranian aggression targeting the kingdom.

The High Criminal Court reviewed the evidence and legal submissions presented in the cases before reaching its final decisions on the defendants involved.

As part of the rulings, the court sentenced 12 defendants to ten years in prison after convictions were secured in the cases under consideration.

Several of those convicted were also ordered to pay fines of 2,000 Bahraini dinars in addition to the custodial sentences imposed by the court.

The judgments further included the confiscation of seized items connected to the offenses addressed during the proceedings.

The cases attracted significant attention because of their connection to national security matters and allegations involving activities considered harmful to public stability.

Authorities stated that the legal measures were carried out through established judicial procedures, with the cases being examined by the competent court before final rulings were issued.

The latest judgments highlight Bahrain’s continued enforcement of laws concerning national security, prohibited information, and the dissemination of false reports, while officials continue to encourage the public to rely on verified and official sources for information related to sensitive legal and security matters.
