Kuwait Airways Reports Improved Financial Performance and Strong Global Recognition in 2025
Kuwait Airways has announced a series of positive financial and operational achievements for 2025, highlighting continued progress in its strategy to strengthen performance, improve efficiency, and enhance its position in the highly competitive global aviation industry.
According to the airline, its losses were reduced by 13.6% compared with the previous reporting period, reflecting ongoing efforts to improve financial performance through operational efficiency, cost optimization, and sustainable business growth.
The national carrier also reported that its annual revenue increased to KD 430.2 million in 2025, demonstrating stronger commercial performance and continued recovery driven by expanded operations and improvements across its passenger services.
In terms of international recognition, Kuwait Airways stated that it has been ranked among the Top 20 airlines worldwide and secured fifth place in the Middle East, reinforcing its growing reputation for service quality, operational excellence, and competitiveness within the regional aviation sector.
The airline further announced that it achieved advanced results in the International Air Transport Association's Operational Safety Audit (IOSA), one of the aviation industry's most respected safety assessment programs, highlighting Kuwait Airways' commitment to maintaining internationally recognized operational safety standards.
The company noted that these achievements are part of its long-term strategy to modernize its fleet, improve customer experience, expand operational capabilities, and strengthen its position as Kuwait's national carrier while maintaining high standards of safety, reliability, and service quality.
