The General Command of the Bahrain Defense Force (BDF) issued a solemn statement today, Tuesday, announcing the martyrdom of a UAE Armed Forces soldier who was serving alongside Bahraini forces. The martyr lost his life while participating in defense operations to intercept what officials described as "sinful Iranian aggressions" targeting the Kingdom’s security.

The official communique, monitored exclusively by our newsroom, also confirmed injuries among several BDF personnel and their UAE counterparts during the line of duty. Authorities highlighted that an immediate medical evacuation was carried out, providing necessary care for the injured. Fortunately, the majority of the injuries were reported as minor to moderate, with most personnel already discharged from medical facilities after receiving treatment.

The BDF General Command reaffirmed its unwavering stance, stating that its forces remain "steadfast in their positions," ready to defend Bahrain’s land, sea, and airspace with total resolve. The statement urged the public to rely solely on official channels for information and to avoid the circulation of unverified rumors during this critical period of regional instability.

This incident occurs amid a massive regional military escalation that began on February 28, 2026, when Israeli and U.S. forces launched a joint military campaign against Iranian targets. Since then, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has retaliated with numerous missile and drone strikes against Israeli interests and U.S. bases in the Gulf region, leading to a volatile security environment across the Middle East.
