As the Kingdom of Bahrain continues to repel ongoing external aggressions, the National Communication Centre has released a comprehensive update regarding the operational status of the country’s defense systems. According to the latest data from the Bahrain Defense Force (BDF), military units have successfully intercepted and destroyed a total of 154 missiles and 350 hostile drones aimed at the Kingdom’s sovereign airspace since the start of the escalation.
On the home front, Captain Abdullah Al-Mannai of the Ministry of Interior detailed the intensive efforts of the Civil Defense teams over the past two days. These teams have responded with high precision to reports of falling debris resulting from the successful interceptions. The debris impacted several locations, including private residences, vehicles, an industrial factory, and a university campus.
To ensure public safety, the General Directorate of Civil Defense has issued a strict Safety Protocol for citizens and residents:
• Do Not Touch: Debris may contain hazardous chemicals or unexploded components; immediate distance must be maintained.
• Emergency Contact: Report any findings immediately via the emergency line (999).
• Privacy & Security: The public is urged to refrain from photographing or sharing images of the debris on social media platforms to prevent the spread of misinformation and protect national security operations.
Furthermore, the Ministry reminded the public that the maritime curfew in the Northern Region remains in full effect from 6:00 PM to 4:00 AM. Mariners are strictly advised to adhere to these timings to avoid legal consequences and ensure the safety of naval operations.
