In a major escalation reported early Tuesday, March 10, 2026, the Bahraini Ministry of Interior confirmed that an Iranian attack targeted a residential area in the capital, Manama. The assault resulted in the death of one individual and left several others injured, marking a direct hit on civilian infrastructure.

According to an official statement, the "blatant aggression" struck a residential building, causing immediate casualties and significant property damage. The Bahraini Defense Force (BDF) General Command further revealed the scale of the ongoing hostilities, stating that their air defense systems have successfully intercepted and destroyed 95 missiles and 164 drones since the beginning of the attacks.
