Kuwait's Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy announced that several overhead power transmission lines have gone out of service after being affected by debris resulting from interception operations during the attacks that targeted the country in recent hours.

The ministry emphasized that the incident has not affected the continuity of its services or the overall stability of the national electricity network, noting that the disruption was limited to a number of transmission lines.

According to the official statement, emergency response teams were immediately deployed and are working in coordination with the relevant security authorities to assess the extent of the damage and carry out the necessary repair and restoration work as quickly as possible.

The ministry added that technical and engineering teams continue to operate around the clock while implementing all required safety measures to ensure the reliability of the electricity network and the safety of personnel.

It reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining uninterrupted electricity services and closely monitoring the situation in cooperation with the competent authorities to address any damage affecting the transmission infrastructure.

The Ministry also urged the public to rely on official sources for updates and avoid sharing unverified information, stating that any new developments will be announced through its official communication channels.
