Amidst the unfolding situation in the State of Kuwait, the Ministry of Health has released an official update regarding casualties admitted to local hospitals.
According to the Ministry’s official spokesperson, Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad, medical facilities across the country have received 12 injured individuals requiring specialized care due to the ongoing developments.
Breakdown of Injuries and Hospital Distribution
Dr. Al-Sanad detailed that the 12 cases were distributed among three primary hospitals based on proximity and necessity:
Farwaniya Hospital: Admitted the highest number of patients, totaling 9 cases. Among these, one individual is currently in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) receiving critical care.
Jahra Hospital: Received 2 cases, both of which are reported to be in stable condition.
Mubarak Al-Kabeer Hospital: Admitted 1 case, which is currently undergoing thorough medical evaluation to determine the necessary treatment plan.
Nature of Injuries and Emergency Readiness
Regarding the nature of the injuries, the spokesperson noted they ranged from impacts caused by collisions and various injuries to the limbs, chest, and back, in addition to superficial injuries.
The Ministry of Health reassured the public that the overall condition of all patients is stable and under close medical supervision. Furthermore, the Ministry confirmed that it has activated emergency response plans and maximized the readiness of all hospitals in close coordination with relevant national authorities. This ensures a rapid response and high-quality medical services for all citizens and residents during these exceptional circumstances.
