Mr. Mohammad Al-Sandan, Director of Public Relations and Spokesperson for Kuwait Municipality, stated in an exclusive press release that the Director General, Manal Al-Asfour, issued this circular following mandatory directives from the Ministry of Interior. This move is categorized under "preventive measures" adopted by the state to navigate the current regional and domestic circumstances effectively.

The municipality has urged all stakeholders and individuals with pending license applications to cooperate fully with the relevant monitoring officials. Specifically, cooperation is required with the Public Cleansing and Road Occupancy departments across all municipal branches in Kuwait's governorates. Al-Sandan emphasized that this temporary halt is essential for maintaining order and aligning with the country's security requirements.
