​In a decisive move to maintain national sovereignty, the Kuwait National Guard's "Duty Force" successfully intercepted and downed two unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) within its designated areas of responsibility over the past 24 hours.

The announcement was made by the official spokesperson, Brigadier General Dr. Jadaan Fadel, on Monday.
