 ​A wave of sorrow has swept through the Kuwaiti capital following a tragic incident that claimed the life of a young expatriate girl. The Ministry of Health confirmed on Tuesday that the 11-year-old girl succumbed to severe injuries sustained after shrapnel fell on a residential neighborhood in Kuwait City.
A Desperate Battle for Survival
The Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) reported that medical emergency teams began life-saving resuscitation efforts immediately within the ambulance. Upon arrival at Al-Amiri Hospital, medical staff continued intensive efforts for approximately 30 minutes. Despite the heroic attempts of the doctors and first responders, the young girl was tragically pronounced dead shortly after.
Medical Status of the Survivors
The tragedy extended to the girl's relatives, as four family members were also caught in the same incident. According to official health sources, the four survivors are currently undergoing comprehensive medical evaluation and remain under close observation at the hospital. Doctors are monitoring their conditions closely to ensure their safety and stabilize their health following the traumatic event.
