Air Arabia, the leading low-cost carrier in the region, has announced the launch of its new service to Warsaw Modlin Airport in Poland, further strengthening its European network and enhancing air connectivity between the United Arab Emirates and Poland.

The airline confirmed that the inaugural flight departed Sharjah International Airport on December 20, receiving a special welcome upon arrival at Warsaw Modlin Airport, marking the official start of the new route.

The addition of Warsaw Modlin complements Air Arabia’s existing daily service to Warsaw Chopin Airport, offering passengers traveling from Sharjah greater flexibility by providing access to the two main airports serving the Polish capital.

In addition to its Warsaw operations, Air Arabia currently operates 10 direct weekly flights between Sharjah and Krakow. With the launch of services to Warsaw Modlin, alongside Warsaw Chopin and Krakow, the airline has increased its total capacity between the UAE and Poland to 24 weekly flights from Sharjah.

Commenting on the expansion, Adel Al Ali, Group Chief Executive Officer of Air Arabia, said the growth of the airline’s operations in Poland reflects its commitment to enhancing air travel options across key European markets.

He noted that operating flights to both Warsaw airports, in addition to Krakow, provides passengers with more choices when traveling between the UAE and Poland. Al Ali emphasized that this expansion underlines Air Arabia’s ongoing commitment to offering affordable air travel while supporting tourism, business travel, and cultural exchange between the two countries.

Meanwhile, Jacek Kowalski, Chairman of Warsaw Modlin Airport, welcomed the launch of the daily Air Arabia flights to Sharjah, describing it as a valuable addition to the airport’s destination network. He highlighted that the new service offers travelers from the Mazovia region and northern Poland seamless access to the Middle East and reinforces Warsaw Modlin Airport’s growing position as an attractive hub for international airlines.

The launch of the Warsaw Modlin route represents a strategic expansion of Air Arabia’s European network from Sharjah, which includes key destinations such as Vienna, Athens, Milan Bergamo, Prague, Krakow, and Warsaw, served via both Chopin and Modlin airports.

Air Arabia operates a modern fleet of Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft, among the most advanced single-aisle aircraft, ensuring operational efficiency and a comfortable, value-driven travel experience for passengers.
