Dubai Police has officially revolutionized legal procedures in the emirate with the launch of its "Second Generation" website and smart application. The highlight of this digital overhaul is a groundbreaking feature that allows individuals with travel bans due to rental disputes to settle their claims and lift the ban immediately, without the need for manual approvals or lengthy waiting periods.

Instant Travel Ban Removal: How It Works

Announced during a press conference at the Dubai Police Officers’ Club, the new update integrates a direct payment mechanism for rental financial obligations. Whether inside the UAE or abroad, users can now access the "Travel Ban Inquiry" service via the UAE PASS. Once the outstanding amount is paid electronically, the system automatically clears the individual’s record and lifts the travel ban in real-time.

This shift marks a significant milestone in Dubai's "Zero Bureaucracy" mission. Previously, lifting such bans required submitting formal requests to judicial authorities and awaiting manual review. Today, the entire process is completed within seconds.

Legal Tech: The New "Lawyers Platform"

Beyond individual services, Dubai Police has introduced a dedicated "Lawyers Platform." This portal provides 7 specialized digital legal services for lawyers and legal consultants, designed to accelerate case handling and enhance the efficiency of the judicial system. The new interface supports 7 UN-recognized languages and over 268 languages via AI-powered systems, catering to Dubai's diverse global population.

AI-Driven Future for Public Safety

Major General Dr. Saleh Abdullah Murad emphasized that these upgrades reflect the vision of Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, to build a proactive security system. Major General Khalid Nasser Al Razooqi, Director of the General Department of Artificial Intelligence, added that the integration of AI is central to improving decision-making and unifying systems between Dubai Police, Dubai Courts, and the Public Prosecution to ensure a seamless and reliable user experience.
