The UAE-based parking operator Parkin has officially introduced a revised public parking tariff schedule for Ramadan 2026, outlining updated payment hours, defined peak periods, and daily free parking windows across multiple zones in Dubai. The move is part of a broader traffic management strategy designed to regulate parking demand during the holy month while accommodating fasting hours and prayer times.

According to the announced framework, paid parking will apply from Monday to Saturday in two daily intervals: from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM and from 8:00 PM to 12:00 midnight. Parking will remain completely free on Sundays and official public holidays across all applicable zones. Additionally, motorists will benefit from two free hours daily between 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM in all paid parking areas, providing added flexibility during Iftar time.

In support of worshippers during Ramadan, Parkin confirmed that mosque parking zones marked (M and MP) will be free of charge throughout the day for the entire month, ensuring convenient access to prayer facilities without additional cost.

The company also clarified that parking fees will apply 24/7 in selected high-demand locations, including bawaabat alkhayl (365N), the Al Aweer Fruit and Vegetable Market parking (614V), and Green Park arrived (614W). However, the two daily free hours from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM will still apply in these locations.

Regarding International City and Dubai Maritime City, parking charges will be enforced from 8:00 AM until 12:00 midnight, with full exemptions on Sundays and public holidays, in addition to the daily two-hour free window. Multi-storey parking facilities will continue operating on a 24/7 basis throughout the week.

Peak hours during Ramadan have been defined as 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM across all zones, while the remaining paid hours, excluding the free period, will be classified as off-peak. Parkin emphasized that the revised structure aims to optimize parking availability, enhance traffic flow, and provide practical relief measures tailored to the unique rhythm of Ramadan in Dubai.
