Dubai Municipality is preparing to launch the second phase of the smart “Dubai Live” platform in 2026, marking a strategic step that further strengthens Dubai’s position as one of the world’s leading cities in smart urban management and government digital transformation.

The initiative aims to enhance services provided to citizens and residents through a fully integrated, real-time operational system.

The new phase of the “Dubai Live” platform seeks to achieve comprehensive integration with all government entities in Dubai, enabling unified data sources and providing a single, real-time view of urban services and operations.

This integration will significantly support faster decision-making processes and improve overall government performance across the emirate.

Real-Time Urban Management and Smarter Decisions

The platform supports the concept of real-time city management by enabling instant and synchronized monitoring of operational activities.

This approach enhances readiness to respond to emergencies, improves coordination during critical situations, and strengthens the city’s ability to adapt quickly to changing conditions related to traffic flow, infrastructure performance, and weather patterns.

Comprehensive Data for Transport, Infrastructure, and Emergencies

“Dubai Live” will provide advanced data covering land, air, and marine transportation, infrastructure-related reports, weather conditions, and emergency management.

In addition, it will enable efficient tracking and handling of service reports, contributing to smoother operations and a more seamless experience for residents and visitors alike.

Supporting the Dubai Urban Plan 2040

The platform will also offer a comprehensive overview of future development projects under the Dubai Urban Plan 2040, including Palm Jebel Ali, the expansion of Expo City in 2026, Dubai South projects in 2027, and the Dubai Metro Blue Line, scheduled to become operational in 2028. The Blue Line will feature 14 stations extending to Al Maktoum International Airport.

The “Dubai Live” platform represents a major leap forward in smart urban operations, integrating infrastructure and urban development data from the licensing phase through to project completion.

This enhances transparency, improves urban planning efficiency, and aligns with Dubai’s vision of becoming a globally leading smart and sustainable city.
