The UAE Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE) has announced the revocation of the license of “Oud Al Reem Domestic Workers Services” in Ajman following violations of the Domestic Workers Law and its executive regulations, as confirmed by the Ministry’s inspection system report.

In an official statement, the Ministry stressed its commitment to strict enforcement of legal measures against any recruitment office found in violation, noting that local authorities have been notified to take necessary action. The office is required to regularize the status of its domestic workers and pay the fines associated with the violations.

The Ministry urged all stakeholders to report any negative practices by licensed domestic worker offices via the call center at 600590000, highlighting ongoing efforts to regulate and monitor the domestic worker recruitment market, ensuring compliance with UAE laws, protecting workers’ rights, and maintaining fairness for employers and recruitment offices alike.

MOHRE emphasized the importance of engaging only licensed and accredited recruitment offices, available through its official website www.mohre.gov.ae, to avoid legal liabilities or potential health and safety risks linked to unlicensed workers.

The Ministry further confirmed that the domestic worker sector operates under high governance and competitive standards, providing services aligned with the humanitarian standards outlined in the Domestic Workers Law, while ensuring a balanced relationship among employers, workers, and agencies.

According to the statement, the majority of recruitment offices comply with regulations, contributing to sustainable economic growth and a stable labor market, while inspections revealed 37 non-compliant offices during the first half of 2025, totaling 107 violations, demonstrating MOHRE’s continuous oversight and enforcement efforts.

Additionally, the Ministry is enhancing smart and electronic services for domestic workers, integrating them into programs such as “Work Package,” “Dubai Now,” and “Invest in Dubai”, aiming to protect workers, improve service efficiency, and provide continuous awareness programs for both employers and recruitment agencies.
