Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced the launch of five new digital service packages, marking a significant step toward enhancing customer experience and delivering faster, more seamless services related to vehicle registration, ownership transfer, and the issuance or renewal of driving licenses.

According to an official report published on the RTA’s website, the newly introduced digital packages include “Ownership Plus,” “Distinguished Plates Package,” “Your Car, Your Blessing,” “License Plus,” and “Professional Permit Package.” These packages have been carefully designed to simplify procedures, reduce processing time, and minimize effort by bundling related services into unified digital solutions accessible through flexible online channels.

The RTA explained that the “Ownership Plus” package enables customers to complete vehicle ownership transfer processes fully online via the RTA website or smart application.

The package covers transferring ownership from the seller to the buyer, officially registering the vehicle, creating an online vehicle sale agreement, requesting a vehicle ownership transfer certificate, and allowing sellers to reclaim insurance deposits by applying for an insurance refund certificate, where applicable.

Meanwhile, the “Distinguished Plates Package” is tailored for customers interested in purchasing premium vehicle plate numbers. It offers a smooth digital journey that allows users to select distinctive plate numbers and complete all related transactions without visiting customer service centers, ensuring convenience and efficiency.

The “Your Car, Your Blessing” package has been developed to simplify the registration of new vehicles. It brings together all required steps for vehicle registration, issuance of official documents, flexible payment options, and the generation of necessary stickers, all through an integrated digital platform.

For driving license services, the RTA highlighted that the “License Plus” package is designed to facilitate both the issuance of new driving licenses and the renewal of existing ones. The package offers streamlined steps, including appointment booking, application submission, and online fee payment, significantly reducing processing time for customers.

Additionally, the “Professional Permit Package” has been introduced to serve professional drivers seeking to issue or renew their permits. This package enables users to complete all related procedures electronically, track application status with ease, and obtain permits without lengthy paperwork.

The Roads and Transport Authority emphasized that the launch of these digital packages aligns with its ongoing commitment to smart and integrated government services, enhancing quality of life in Dubai and supporting the emirate’s vision of delivering proactive, accessible, and user-centric services.
