Dubai is once again set to confirm its status as one of the world’s top New Year’s Eve destinations, unveiling a diverse lineup of celebrations designed to appeal to all tastes. The city’s festivities range from waterfront celebrations and live concerts by renowned artists to fireworks displays in mountainous landscapes and cutting-edge drone shows, offering unforgettable moments as the new year begins.
This year’s New Year’s Eve celebrations are part of the Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF), which brings a festive winter atmosphere across the emirate. With ideal weather, world-class hospitality, and a vibrant calendar of entertainment, Dubai provides residents and visitors with a comprehensive experience to welcome 2026 in style.
At midnight, the city’s skyline will light up with special DSF fireworks displays across several key locations, including Al Seef, Bluewaters, Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR), and Hatta. These displays will transform historic districts, illuminated coastlines, and dramatic mountain scenery into one unified celebration marking the start of the new year.
One of the standout events will take place at Festival Bay, Dubai Festival City Mall, where DSF Nights presented by &e will host a live concert featuring Kuwaiti pop star Bader Al Shuaibi alongside Disco Misr. Al Shuaibi is known for blending Arabic pop and R&B, while Disco Misr is famous for reimagining classic Arabic hits with a modern electronic twist.
The evening program at Festival Bay will also feature a wide range of entertainment activities, including live roaming performances, family-friendly character shows, interactive games, and activity zones. Visitors can explore a vibrant food village with pop-up restaurants, food trucks, and seasonal kiosks, complemented by spectacular light, fountain, and laser shows illuminating the waterfront.
Meanwhile, Atlantis The Palm will host one of Dubai’s most luxurious New Year’s Eve experiences, featuring an exclusive open-air gala dinner headlined by Grammy Award-winning band Maroon 5. The celebration combines international music, fine dining, and a breathtaking fireworks display over Palm Jumeirah at midnight.
In Hatta, celebrations will include a captivating fireworks show set against the Hajar Mountains, while visitors can enjoy daytime DSF experiences at Hatta Wadi Hub, followed by an immersive countdown celebration surrounded by nature in the evening.
