​As the holy month of Ramadan approaches, official sources have outlined the comprehensive schedule for schools and administrative sectors. The new plan introduces flexible working hours and adjusted lesson timings to balance educational requirements with the spiritual observance of the month.

​Student Schedules and Lesson Durations

​The academic day for all grades will consist of 7 lessons, each lasting between 30 to 35 minutes, interspersed with 15-minute breaks. The specific timings are as follows:

• ​Kindergarten: Reception starts from 9:40 AM to 10:00 AM, with dismissal between 12:55 PM and 1:10 PM.

• ​Elementary Stage: Classes run from 9:25 AM to 1:45 PM.

• ​Middle School: The first bell rings at 9:20 AM, concluding the day at 2:00 PM.

• ​High School: Lessons start at 9:30 AM and end at 2:10 PM.

​Flexible Shifts for Educators and Staff

​A 30-minute flexibility window has been granted for school staff across different stages:

• ​Elementary & Middle Schools: Attendance (9:00 - 9:30 AM) | Departure (1:30 - 2:00 PM).

• ​High Schools: Attendance (9:10 - 9:40 AM) | Departure (1:40 - 2:10 PM).

• ​Technical Supervisors: Flexible hours from 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM.

​Ministry Headquarters and Strict Attendance Policies

​For staff at the Ministry’s headquarters and educational zones, a 4.5-hour workday has been established. Employees can check in between 8:30 AM and 10:30 AM, completing their required hours accordingly.

​Crucial Note on Attendance: The Ministry has announced the cancellation of all reduced-hour permits and partial absences during Ramadan, except for those registered with the Public Authority for Disability Affairs. Furthermore, the total allowed delay for the entire month is strictly capped at 67 minutes.
