Bahrain Ministry of Interior arrests 15 field operatives linked to Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) for attempting to destabilize national security and subvert youth.

The Ministry of Interior of the Kingdom of Bahrain issued an official high-level security statement announcing that, in alignment with its sovereign responsibility to preserve national security and social stability, counter-terrorism forces have arrested 15 individuals acting as active field operatives. This precision security operation was executed based on strategic intelligence and extensive investigations tracking suspects previously detained in connection with an Iranian-backed espionage cell tied directly to agents of the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) based in Iran.

The ministry detailed that the 15 apprehended operatives were actively working under foreign command to execute subversive, instigative directives. Their operational focus was to influence local citizens, targeting vulnerable youth and adolescents to manipulate and drive them into committing unlawful, criminally penalized acts. The ministry further noted that these elements utilized complex social infiltration tactics to plant sleeper cells designed to execute the destructive agendas of illicit, banned organizations.

To enforce the rule of law and dismantle the network's structural remnants, the Ministry of Interior outlined the following ongoing judicial and operational measures:

Processing Legal Proceedings: Competent judicial and security organs are currently finalizing all legal procedures and formal interrogations against the 15 arrested suspects prior to their indictment.

Unbroken Counter-Intelligence Tracking: Comprehensive search, intelligence gathering, and tracking operations remain fully active to identify, locate, and legally prosecute any accomplices proven to be linked to this hostile formation or its illegal operations.

Continuous Surveillance & Monitoring: The ministry emphasized that all movements of these hostile actors were under constant surveillance by state security apparatuses, confirming that these preemptive defense measures directly serve to shield the nation's multi-faceted social fabric.

The Bahraini Ministry of Interior concluded its emergency declaration by forcefully reaffirming that it will unyieldingly confront and neutralize anyone attempting to compromise civil peace, seed sedition, or spark sectarian division among the unified Bahraini population, prioritizing absolute national stability above all else.
