The General Command of the Bahrain Defence Force said that Iran continues what it described as a systematic hostile approach through attacks targeting civilians in the Kingdom of Bahrain
In a statement issued on Wednesday, the General Command said that the Bahrain Defence Force’s air defense systems, operating with a high level of combat readiness, intercepted and destroyed a number of Iranian aerial attacks.
The General Command confirmed that all weapons systems and military units remain at the highest level of readiness and are fully prepared to defend the Kingdom and respond to potential threats.
The Bahraini authorities also urged citizens and residents to exercise the utmost caution and avoid approaching any unknown or suspicious objects that may result from remnants of the attacks.
The public was instructed to immediately report any suspicious objects to the relevant authorities and avoid handling or approaching them.
The General Command confirmed that personnel from the Royal Field Engineering Unit are fully prepared to safely deal with such objects in accordance with the necessary technical and safety procedures.
The Bahrain Defence Force also stressed that the deliberate use of missiles and drones to target civilians and private property constitutes a blatant violation of international humanitarian law.
The General Command expressed its pride in the advanced combat readiness and high level of vigilance demonstrated by Bahrain Defence Force personnel while carrying out their duties to protect the Kingdom.
